Hagar International

Hagar Project’s stated mission is ‘To foster hope for vulnerable women and children in crisis through holistic, transformational development and creative initiatives.’ Hagar was founded in response to the problems of street mothers and children in post conflict Cambodia. It takes in women who have been abused and raped during the Khmer war, rehabilitates them through a programme of counselling and then trains them to work in their growing number of businesses.
