Conversion to Public Limited Company

Sphere Medical Holding PLC (‘Sphere Medical’ or ‘Sphere’), the Cambridge (UK) based
medical microsystems company, is pleased to announce that, having previously been
registered as a private company Sphere Medical Holding Limited, on 10 November 2006 the Registrar of Companies for England and Wales re-registered the company as a public company under the Companies Act 1985 under the name Sphere Medical Holding PLC. The company is limited.
