Dr Ann Simon Appointed as Chief Financial Officer

Sphere Medical Holding Limited (‘Sphere Medical’ or ‘Sphere’), the Cambridge (UK) based medical microsystems company, is pleased to announce that Dr. Ann Simon has joined the Board as Chief Financial Officer.

Dr. Simon has extensive finance experience in the technology and healthcare sectors. She was CFO of Mirada Solutions (2002-3), an Oxford University spin-out involved in software for healthcare imaging, until its trade sale. She managed the IPO of Bioglan Pharma, and subsequent acquisition fundings. She was in the corporate finance team at Cazenove & Co from 1985 to 1998 and in 2002-3 was a member of the FSA's Financial Information team in a review of the UK listing rules. She is also on the boards of Genosis PLC and Endace Europe Limited.
