Bioventix Announces Licence Agreement with Dade Behring
Farnham, Surrey, UK: 2 October 2006
Bioventix announced today completion of a licence agreement with Dade Behring covering high affinity sheep monoclonal antibody (SMA) secreting cell lines created by Bioventix for use by Dade Behring. Under a previous research contract, Bioventix supplied a panel of SMA’s to Dade Behring for possible applications on its clinical chemistry analysers. Following successful trials of these antibodies on Dade Behring platforms, development activities have now commenced.
Peter Harrison, Managing Director of Bioventix commented “We are delighted that our SMA technology has found another niche in such a key diagnostic application. It has been very rewarding to have worked on such an important project with Dade Behring and to have once again demonstrated the unique properties of the SMA’s made in our laboratory”
